August in Lake Como
A Summer Dream, Eternal. Still waters. Soft villas clinging to forested hills. Afternoon prosecco on a private terrace. August in Lake Como captures the hush of a timeless Italian summer.
Scent Notes: Fig leaf, Cypress, and Ambered Musk
Founder's Take:
We’d just finished a slow lunch on a terrace tucked into the hillside — tablecloth fluttering in the breeze, half-finished glasses of white wine catching the sun like crystal.
You could smell the fig trees — sweet, resinous — ripening in the heat, and hear the faint rustle of cypress branches swaying above the villa wall. Everything was soft: the quiet lapping of the lake, the linen of my shirt still warm from the sun, the sky sliding into a peachy blue haze.
We didn’t speak much. It was one of those rare moments where you didn’t need to. Just a glance. Just the air between us, thick with the scent of fig, dry grass, citrus, and sun-warmed stone.
That day stayed with me. It wasn’t dramatic or grand — it was just complete.
August in Lake Como is my attempt to hold onto it.
To capture that golden hour glow and the calm that only comes when you’ve nowhere else to be.
